These meetings are informal “check-ins” to discuss the status of the team’s project work, and to identify and head off any potential (or actual) problems.
The team must come to the meeting prepared to address the following:
What is the team working on? Make all requirements specifications and their statuses available for discussion.
What are you specifically working on? All individual assignment specifications, including past ones, ones in progress, and ones in preparation, must be made available for discussion.
Show me what you’ve done. Feature demonstrations as evidence of progress and opportunities for feedback should be performed if requested.
Two key additional criteria to keep in mind are:
Everyone must be present. All team members must attend the meeting from beginning to end.
Everyone must participate. All team members must make substantive contributions at the meeting to address the above items. In particular, each team member must take the lead in presenting their own work, and be prepared to answer questions about their work.
